lfg discord tip: put your rank and what you actually want in the first line. "need a 5th for ranked, mic on, chill" tends to get more replies than a bare "lfg". you can post one at dispresso.co/lfg

free courses are up at dispresso.co/work/courses. make your own discord bot with discord.py, set up a server properly, git and github without the pain, and custom commands. every level is one small challenge instead of a wall of text, and level 1 plays without signing in

how to grow a discord server, the boring version: get listed somewhere people actually browse, keep your welcome channel short, and bump your listing regularly so it stays near the top of recently bumped. dispresso.co/servers is where that happens

what's the one thing you wish your discord bot did that none of them do? genuinely asking, i read all the replies

you can just talk to the bot in a channel. "dispresso remind me to check the giveaway in 2 hours" and it sets the reminder. the time can go at the end or the start, whichever way you'd say it out loud. dispresso.co/docs/talk-to-dispresso

looking for a discord server list that isn't just a wall of ads? dispresso.co/servers is a directory where listings get approved before they show up, and you can search by game. finding a server should take a minute, not an evening

quick tip: if you have a channel that's only supposed to have art or screenshots, make it image only. text posts get removed and a sticky message points people to where they can talk instead. with dispresso it's /server imageonly add, and the setup steps are here: dispresso.co/docs/modules/image-only

The marks beside a name

Three different things, earned three different ways. Only one of them is something you buy.

  • Dispresso Verified

The checkmark. It says the DDS Team looked at the account and confirmed who is behind it, so you apply for it rather than buy it. You send the name you go by, what you are known for, and links to accounts that already carry your name.

Approval is the reward, and the reward includes Dispresso Pro at no cost for as long as you hold the mark. Paying for Pro does not get you this one.

    Apply in Settings
  • Dispresso Pro and Dispresso Plus

The two paid tiers. Subscribing to Pro puts the Pro mark on your profile and beside your name on every post; Plus does the same with the Plus mark. You show the tier you are on, so a Pro account shows Pro alone rather than both.

The mark follows the subscription. It appears when the payment goes through and stops rendering everywhere the moment the subscription lapses, because it is read from your billing state rather than saved onto your profile.

    See what each tier includes
  • ID Verified

A government ID check, run end to end on Didit's own hosted pages. You are sent there, you photograph a document and your face there, and you come back.

None of it reaches Dispresso's servers or database: not the document, not the photo, not the document number, not your date of birth. What comes back is whether you proved who you are, whether you are 18 or over, and the two letter country code. That is the entire record we keep. Didit holds the document itself and shows it to named staff in its own console, which is set out in full in the Privacy Policy.

It is optional unless you publish adult content, most accounts will never have it, and not having it says nothing about anyone.

    Start a check in Settings
  • Adult, 18 or over

Granted alongside ID Verified when the document showed you are 18 or over. It is what permits publishing adult content, and it is the only badge on the platform that grants a capability rather than describing one.

There is no badge for the opposite and there never will be. Plenty of adults never verify, so not carrying this says nothing about anybody's age.
