HTML, CSS and a little JavaScript. A real page with your name on it, live on the internet for free.
No frameworks, no build tools, no 40 minute setup video. Three files in a folder and a browser. By the end you have a landing page for your server, your bot or yourself, and it's online at a real link you can drop in Discord. All you need is a text editor (VS Code is free) and a browser.

HTML is what's on the page. Headings, text, links, images. Make a folder called mysite, open it in your editor and make index.html:
<!doctype html>
<html lang="en">
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8">
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1">
<title>Night Owls</title>
</head>
<body>
<h1>Night Owls</h1>
<p>A chill gaming server for people who should be asleep.</p>
<a href="https://discord.gg/your-invite">Join us on Discord</a>
</body>
</html>
Double click the file. It opens in your browser. That's a website. Ugly, but a website. Change the text, save, refresh. That loop (edit, save, refresh) is 90% of web dev.
<p> opens, </p> closes.<h1> is the big title. Use one per page. <h2> for sections.<a href="..."> is a link. href is where it goes.<img src="logo.png" alt="Our logo"> is an image. Always write the alt, screen readers need it.Fill the gap
Fill in the tag that makes a link.
